In 1994, Scott Gage towed a stump grinder from Buffalo, New York to Alaska to fulfill his dream of seeing the Last Frontier. Raised in the tree business, he used his “do it right,” eager to please attitude to create a quality, value based tree care and removal company. Fourteen years, a wife and two children later, Gage Tree Service has grown from one person to a full service, ten employee, year-round operation.

Scott, a certified, second generation arborist actively manages day to day operations together with his wife Carla. As winter approaches, their focus switches from trees to holiday lighting. Christmas Decor by Gage Tree Service has become Anchorage’s premier holiday lighting company.
